Miyuki seed beads are available in various colour types/finishes, such as Luster, Lines, Dyed, AB, Ceylon, Opaque and Frost.
Do not use Galvanized, Plated, Metal, Metallic or Dyed beads on places where excessive wear and tear can occur or where the beads can be affected by (skin) acids.
The colour numbers correspond with the original Miyuki colour numbers in the sizes 8/0, 11/0 and 15/0. So you can use seed beads of various sizes with exactly the same colour in your design. (Please note: not all colours are produced in all sizes).
Seed beads come in several sizes. The most common sizes are:
• 8/0: approximate size 2,1x3,0mm, stringing hole ± 1mm
• approximate size 1,3x2,1mm, stringing hole ± 0.8mm
• 15/0 approximate size 1,0x1,5mm, stringing hole ±0.7mm
